Tickets to A Candlelight Christmas performances taking place at Strathmore can be purchased two ways: at thewashingtonchorus.org through our ticketing platform or directly through Strathmore’s website and box office.
You can save on fees by buying directly through us!

Option 1: Buying via thewashingtonchorus.org
Use this link (https://bit.ly/strathmoretwc) to purchase your tickets through TWC. Tickets will remain on sale through TWC until Friday, December 6. After that date, tickets will be on sale exclusively through Strathmore. Tickets will be available at Will Call starting one hour before the performance begins. Please bring your photo ID.
Option 2: Buying via Strathmore:

Please note that the tickets they have on sale are for different seats than what is available on our website. If you purchase from Strathmore, you will have the option to have your tickets delivered via mobile ticket, mailed to you or held at Will Call.

Early Bird Discount
As a thank you for purchasing tickets early, you can receive 10% off full-priced tickets by using the discount code: EARLYBIRD10. The code expires on August 23, 2026. The code cannot be used on tickets under $30 or combined with other discount codes.

Cramton Auditorium – Howard University

Tickets are on sale at thewashingtonchorus.org through our ticketing platform using the link above. Cramton does not have a box office, so tickets can only be purchased online through TWC. We accept payment via credit card or check.
For the performances of A Candlelight Christmas at Cramton Auditorium, you will receive mobile tickets. After completing your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to your mobile tickets. You can either save the tickets to your mobile wallet, print them out, or show the tickets on your phone at the show.
Lisner Auditorium – The George Washington University

Early Bird Discount: To access the early bird discount, click the “Unlock Offers” text on the right sidebar. Here is a screenshot for reference. On the next screen, enter EARLYBIRD10 and then click the “Unlock” button.
Tickets are on sale 24/7 via ticketmaster.com. Ticketmaster is the University's official ticketing system and the only ticketing system that you can use to buy tickets to A Candlelight Christmas shows taking place on December 18 and 19, 2026 at Lisner Auditorium.
Lisner Box Office Information
The Lisner Auditorium box office is open on Tuesdays from 11am-3pm. They are located inside Lisner Auditorium at 730 21st St NW (corner of H and 21st).
