South Loudon Youth Chorale
The South Loudoun Youth Chorale (SLYC) is a dynamic youth choral organization serving singers in grades 3–12 throughout Loudoun County and the surrounding region. Through a comprehensive program of training and auditioned ensembles, SLYC provides exceptional musical experiences that develop vocal artistry, musicianship, leadership, and a lifelong love of singing. SLYC is committed to elevating the choral arts in the community while inspiring young people to serve as ambassadors for music in their schools and beyond. Guided by the core values of Serve, Lead, Spread Joy, and Care, SLYC seeks to nurture not only excellent musicians, but also compassionate and engaged young leaders who make a positive impact in their communities. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Laura Lazarevich, SLYC's singers perform a diverse repertoire while engaging in meaningful collaborations, outreach initiatives, and educational opportunities. The organization's premier ensemble, Summit, is composed of select high school singers and represents the highest level of choral excellence within SLYC.
