In music, an ostinato is a short, repeated pattern in music, either a melody or a rhythm, or both. Composers often use it to form the backbone of an entire composition. Similarly for us, recurring giving at any level is essential to our organization. Not only does this form of giving help make The Washington Chorus more sustainable, but it also makes up a major part of our funding for commissioning of new choral works.
