Reservoir High School

The Reservoir High School Chamber Choir is the advanced auditioned choir of the school, comprised of students in grades 9-12. Founded in 2003, the choir performs a wide variety of musical styles from the major periods of classical music to pop, musical theater, jazz, and contemporary a cappella. The RHS Chamber Choir frequently performs for events in the community, highlights including singing the National Anthem for the Orioles at Camden Yards, and performing at the Department of Labor, the Federal Reserve, and the final White House holiday party of President and Mrs. Obama in 2016.

Greg Knauf is the Director of Choral Activities at Reservoir High School in Fulton, MD where he also teaches Music Technology and Piano and is the music and technical director for the Theatre Arts program. He is the Director of Music at Catonsville Presbyterian Church and is an active conductor, accompanist, and performer in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area. He was the recipient of the Howard County Parents for School Music’s 2010 Music Educator of the Year award and a finalist for the HCPSS 2021 Teacher of the Year. Dr. Knauf taught at Towson University and the University of Miami, FL, where he also conducted the Civic Chorale of Greater Miami. His choral compositions are published with Walton Music and Colla Voce Music. Dr. Knauf studied Music Theory, Composition and Conducting at the University of Miami and the Hochshule für Musik in Vienna, Austria.
