Where will this season’s concerts take place?

This season’s concerts will take place at venues across the D.C. region. We’ll be returning to some familiar spaces, such as the Music Center at Strathmore. For the first time, we’ll be performing at Lisner Auditorium (The George Washington University), Cramton Auditorium (Howard University), and DAR Constitution Hall. View our venues webpage at this link: https://thewashingtonchorus.org/venues to learn more about getting to the venues, parking, and more.

When should I buy tickets?

We always recommend buying tickets early to secure your desired seats. We also have a special offer: buy tickets between Thursday, July 16 and Sunday, August 23 and get 10% off tickets when using this code: EARLYBIRD10. Please note: the early bird discount cannot be used on tickets valued at less than $30 or combined with other discount codes. The code is only valid for use on the following programs: A Candlelight Christmas and A Song Flung Up to Heaven

How do I purchase tickets?

I’ve never used Ticketmaster before. How do I buy tickets?

Ticketmaster has a ton of Help articles at this link: https://help.ticketmaster.com/hc/en-us for guiding you through the purchasing process. Here are a few that we liked:

Does TWC charge ticket fees?

On tickets sold directly by The Washington Chorus on our website, we apply an 8% administrative fee to the face value of tickets. This fee helps cover the costs for our ticketing provider and the administrative ticketing work of our team.

What type of payment does TWC accept?

For tickets purchased directly through TWC, we accept payment via credit card or check.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

Tickets purchased through The Washington Chorus are nonrefundable.

For A Candlelight Christmas performances at Cramton Auditorium and Strathmore, we may be able process ticket exchanges for tickets purchased through TWC based on availability. Please email [email protected] with your request and include your ticket order or the email address you used to purchase tickets.

For tickets purchased through Ticketmaster, refunds and exchanges are not available through The Washington Chorus. Please refer to Ticketmaster’s Refund FAQs at this link for more information: https://help.ticketmaster.com/hc/en-us/sections/13919033303313-Refunds.

If you are unable to attend a performance where you purchased your tickets through Ticketmaster, you may be able to transfer your tickets to another person. Learn more about Ticket Transfer at this link: https://help.ticketmaster.com/hc/en-us/articles/9786975926673-How-does-Ticket-Transfer-work

Do you have any discounted ticket programs?

Yes! TWC strives to make choral music accessible to as many members of our community as possible. For more details about discounts, please visit our webpage at this link: https://thewashingtonchorus.org/discount-programs

How do I enter a discount code when purchasing through Ticketmaster?

When you have seats selected from the seat map, click the “Unlock Offers” text on the right sidebar. Here is a screenshot for reference. On the next screen, enter your discount code and then click the “Unlock” button.

Can I have my tickets mailed to me?

Tickets purchased via TWC will be either physical tickets that can be picked up at Will Call (for the Strathmore A Candlelight Christmas shows) or mobile tickets that will be sent via email (for the Cramton Auditorium A Candlelight Christmas shows). For tickets purchased directly through Strathmore or Ticketmaster, you can choose your preferred delivery method upon checkout.

I didn’t receive a confirmation email after purchasing my tickets. What should I do?

No problem! If you purchased your tickets directly through The Washington Chorus, please email us at [email protected] from the email address you used to purchase your tickets. If you have the order number for your order, please provide that as well.

How do I contact The Washington Chorus with questions about ticketing?

Please reach out to us via email at [email protected] or via phone at (202) 342-6221. We reply within 1-2 business days.
