THE WASHINGTON CHORUS ANNOUNCES METOPERA SOPRANO AUNDI MARIE MOORE AS NEWEST ADDITION TO WILDLY POPULAR CAROLS ON DEMAND HOLIDAY SERVICE
In a holiday season unlike any other, The Washington Chorus is grateful to bring holiday cheer and joy to thousands of folks across the country and beyond through its wildly popular new “Carols on Demand” program.
And today, it’s welcoming acclaimed Metropolitan Opera soprano Aundi Marie Moore to the “Carols on Demand” roster.
Hailed for her voice of “clarion beauty” (The Washington Post), soprano Aundi Marie Moore is a DC regional singer with an international profile, having graced the stages of the Metropolitan Opera, L’Opera de Monte Carlo, and Washington National Opera, and sung as soloist with orchestras including the National Symphony Orchestra, Buffalo Symphony Orchestra, and many more.
Most recently, Ms. Moore appeared to acclaim as soprano soloist in The Washington Chorus’ world premiere short music film by Damien Geter and Bob Berg, “Cantata for a More Hopeful Tomorrow,” now available via Vimeo on Demand.
By joining the TWC “Carols on Demand” roster, Ms. Moore is now available worldwide to create custom personalized messages alongside beautiful a cappella performances of favorite holiday carols, for just $99 per video. Part of the proceeds of Ms. Moore’s custom carol videos will benefit The Washington Chorus’ community, performance, and education programs.
