A pre-screen recording is required for all voice parts, which is due by Friday, July 18, at noon. To learn more about these pre-screen details, click on the “Audition Requirements” button below. You will receive a notification on or before Friday, July 25, 2025. Please note our live auditions are tentatively scheduled for Monday, August 18, 2025 (5-9pm).

About Joining TWC
As you peruse our site and attend our performances to decide if TWC is the right fit for you, we have some additional details to help you in your decision making. If you have any questions about the following, please send us an email!
Rehearsals
The Washington Chorus rehearses year-round on Monday evenings (aside from some holidays) in at National Presbyterian Church Northwest DC. Location is accessible by Metro bus and rail. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled throughout the season. Two orchestral rehearsals are typically scheduled prior to each performance. Dues
Chorus dues are $175 per season, collected at the beginning of each season or upon entry into the chorus (dues prorated if auditioning mid-season). This helps to cover the cost of our rehearsal venues, pianist fees, and music purchases (most of which are yours to keep).
Participation
TWC members are expected to sing all concerts for which they are available. That being said, we know life is busy, and reasonably requested absences will be granted. Have questions about this? Email Robert, Director of Production, at robert@thewashingtonchorus.org.
