Robert Schroyer
Robert Schroyer, currently the Director of Production for The Washington Chorus, first began with the Chorus in 2017 as the Patron Services Manager. He previously served as the Manager of Operations for the New Orchestra of Washington, and also worked with the Yellowbarn Chamber Music Festival, National Orchestral Institute & Festival, and the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria.
As a percussionist, Robert won prizes in the University of Maryland Symphony Orchestra, Alexandria Symphony, PASIC and ENKOR competitions, and has performed a guest artist for numerous festivals on 3 continents.
Robert holds a Master of Music degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Music Education degree, summa cum laude, from Stetson University, where he was awarded the Presser Scholar Award.
