“Candlelight Christmas” 2020 Program Book Released

In advance of their acclaimed and creatively re-imagined “Candlelight Christmas” concerts coming up – December 18, 19, and 20 for time-specific showings, then on-demand December 21-30, 2020 – The Washington Chorus is proud to release the complete program book for these beloved holiday concerts.

These concerts mark the first onstage appearances by new TWC Artistic Director Eugene Rogers – Director of Choral Activities at the University of Michigan and Founding Artistic Director of the EXIGENCE vocal ensemble – and include a wonderful array of holiday music, from traditional favorites like “Silent Night” and “The Dream Isaiah Saw” to new carols and arrangements unique to this beautifully filmed and recorded concert presentation.

The “Candlelight Christmas” program book includes the complete concert program, artist biographies, carol underwriter dedications, and sing-along lyrics for the four sing-along-from-home carols on the two time Grammy award-winning Chorus’ holiday concerts.

Tickets are still available – whether patrons want to join for one of the time/date specific livestream concerts or to stream the concert on-demand from December 21 to 31, 2020 – and can be purchased online here.
