Still, Still, Still

The melody of “Still, Still, Still” is a folk tune from the district of Salzburg, Austria. It was first published in a collection by Vinzenz Maria Süß, the founder of what became the Salzburg Museum, a modern museum network that includes a folklore museum and a museum entirely dedicated to another Christmas Carol, “Silent Night.” The arrangement we’ll be performing is by Matthew Culloton, the award-winning founding Artistic Director of The Singers – Minnesota Choral Artists. This serene rendition combines luscious harmonies and gentle dynamics to add a softer touch to our candlelight performance.
