Zane Hollomon

Zane Hollomon works alongside the Directors of Development and Production to support ongoing fundraising, concert production, and office management as Development and Operations Assistant at The Washington Chorus.

His journey with The Washington Chorus began in 2025 as the Development and Production Fellow, and he joined the staff full-time shortly thereafter. In his current role, his duties include CRM management, donor correspondence, donation processing, event support, and audition planning across Development, Production, and Operations.

Throughout his decade of musical experience in both performance and administration, one thing has remained consistent: a love of making music. After receiving his Bachelor of Music in Double Bass Performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Zane went on to perform with several professional NC orchestras, including the Winston-Salem Symphony and the Western Piedmont Symphony. He also spent several years touring with the rock band Caffeine Daydream, which culminated in a sold-out performance at the Thaw Out 2022 Music Festival and the successful release of a studio LP.

He has written music for short films, podcasts, and live dance performances. His bass lines can be heard on recordings of all genres, from classical and jazz to punk and grunge. When he isn’t in the office or working on music, Zane can be found reading comics, playing card games, or writing articles for online media publications.
