Kim Callinan
Kim Callinan is the CEO of GSD for Social Good and the Executive Director of March On!, a national arts and education nonprofit that uses storytelling to advance civil rights and social justice. A lifelong music lover, she grew up immersed in band and chorus, and studied flute, oboe, and voice at the Manhattan School of Music Preparatory Division, continuing her study of flute while at Oberlin College. While she ultimately chose a professional path outside of music, it has remained a constant source of joy and inspiration; she is a frequent attendee of concerts and the theater, including The Washington Chorus.
That same passion for connection and impact has defined Kim’s professional career. She brings more than two decades of leadership experience in the nonprofit, public health, and social change sectors, where she has driven organizational growth, advanced policy reforms, and built initiatives that empower individuals and communities. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College, a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus. A lifelong believer in the power of music to connect and inspire, she is honored to support The Washington Chorus in advancing its mission.
Kim lives in Kensington, Maryland with her husband, Earl. They have two adult children, Trey and Katrina, and she finds great joy in watching them both take on the world in their own unique ways.
