FINANCE

Part-Time Position

The Finance Fellow contributes to many aspects of the Chorus’ financial management and gains hands-on experience in accounting and financial reporting. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, this fellowship offers invaluable experience in nonprofit financial management. The successful candidate will have great attention to detail and facility with spreadsheet, database, and/or accounting software as well as the ability to multi-task, meet time-sensitive deadlines, and work well within a team and independently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Various bookkeeping tasks including processing invoices and receipts as part of the full-cycle accounts payable process

  • Analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports and models

  • Participating in Finance Committee meetings

  • Depending on the term of the fellowship, assist with the annual external audit (fall term) or preparation of the annual operating budget (spring term)
