About the Chorus

Rehearsals

The Washington Chorus rehearses year-round on Monday evenings in at National Presbyterian Church Northwest DC. Location is accessible by Metro bus and rail. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled throughout the season. Two orchestral rehearsals are typically scheduled prior to each performance. To get an idea of the time commitment, click here to view a sample rehearsal and performance schedule from our 2019 production of Mozart’s Requiem.

Dues

All TWC singers pay $175 in yearly chorus dues at the beginning of each season or upon entry into the chorus. This helps to cover the cost of our rehearsal venues, pianist fees, and music purchases (most of which are yours to keep).

Participation

TWC members are expected to sing all concerts for which they are available. That being said, we know life is busy, and reasonably requested absences will be granted. Have questions about this? Email Robert, Director of Production, at [email protected].
