Brahms’ A German Requiem — a masterpiece of humanism and choral music, loved equally by singers and audiences, with Britten’s Ballad of Heroes, a heartfelt response to war’s devastating toll on humanity. This concert commemorates the 100-year anniversary of Armistice Day. Guest soloists: Laura Choi Stuart, soprano, and Rob McGinness, baritone.
A Candlelight Christmas features traditional carols, contemporary compositions, and sing-a-longs of your favorites. The festivities are accompanied by a brass ensemble and organ, infused with Christopher Bell’s audience-pleasing combination of reverence and revelry, and of course include the traditional candlelight processional.
