New Music for a New Age

The first of a new series presented by The Washington Chorus at the ATLAS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

Our new series will feature the work of a single living composer. This March we are pleased to present the works of award-winning young composer Trevor Weston. Featured will be Ashes, a work commissioned to commemorate the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and Ma’at Musings for chorus and small instrumental ensemble, based upon ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic death poetry. Rounding out the program will be an eclectic collection of Trevor’s chamber music
